Getting stoked on many of these threads, I've been getting out by myself for most of the year and am looking to do some early season tours on west, and south faces mostly. I've been boarding for twenty years and backcountry for three, mostly on the Peaks. I have the essentials and know how to use them (peiper, shovel and probe) but I am new to snow science and into expanding my knowledge. 814-3667 Miguel
